International context

AMOP involves 14 research units in France, 8 research units from 3 Institutes in Peru and 8 Institutions in 6 other countries (Chile, Denmark, Germany, Mexico, Spain, USA) acting as an international consortium on the deoxygenation topic (~70 participants). It is associated with new programs, both in terms of themes and multidisciplinary approaches, Regional (RTRA/MAISOE; ICE), European (SenseOCEAN; HYPOX, EURO-ARGO; EUR-OCEANS) and International (ARGO-O2; GO2NE; SOLAS (Mid-Term Strategy on OMS-EBUES); IMBER; CLIVAR; GEOTRACES; FUTURE EARTH).

- Labs involved in France:

LEGOS, MIO, LOMIC, OOV, MARBEC, LATMOS, LEMAR, LPO, OOB, EPOC, LOCEAN, ISTO with the technical support from the US191-IRD and DT/INSU

- Foreign labs:

IMARPE/IGP/UNAC (PERU), GEOMAR/MPI (GERMANY), CICESE/UABC (MEXICO), Aahrus University/Unisense (DENMARK), IEA/CO-Malaga (SPAIN), CEAZA (CHILE) and UCLA (USA).
