Continental hydrology from GRACE

by zopeadm — last modified Jun 28, 2011 04:48 PM

Description : Spatio-temporal variations of the continental water storage (water + snow mass) inverted from monthly or/and 10-day solutions of GRACE (Gravity Recovery And Climate Experiment) satellite mission. Units : mm of equivalent-water height. Spatial resolution : Maximum harmonic degree 50 (about 400 km at the surface of the Earth).
Coverage : Global.
Duration : April/May 2002 - End of 2005.
Source : GOHS Team of LEGOS (OMP, Toulouse, France).
Data available on request. Contact Guillaume Ramillien.
Documentation : Principles of the inverse method applied to GRACE geoids is provided in the following article :

Format : 3-column monthly files in ASCII (longitude, latitude, equivalent water height) or lists of corresponding spherical harmonic coefficients.
