Research activity:

  • Determination of submarine groundwater discharge (SGD) using Ra isotopes and 222Rn in Mediterranean environments.
  • Environmental impact of nutrients (nitrogen and phosphorous) associated with SGD in coastal Mediterranean areas.
  • Study of coastal hydrogeology by means of natural radioactivity (U, Th, Ra, Rn)
  • Geochemistry applied to matter fluxes and water mass transports in the modern ocean. Multi-tracer approach.
  • Neodymium isotopes and Rare Earth Elements: water mass circulation and mixing, terrigeneous inputs, dissolved-particulate exchanges.
