Research interests

- Studying monthly, seasonal and annual water surface fluxes variability at regional and global scales, investigating causes of these variations and interactions with atmopshere (inputs) and oceans (outputs).

- Benefits of satellite remote sensing data to observe continental water cycle. I am especially involved in the future Surface Water and Ocean Topography (SWOT) satellite mission (SWOT NASA website and SWOT CNES website).

- Use of hydrologic/hydrodynamic models, intercomparison with in situ and satellite data

Research experiences

2011 - Present: CNRS Research scientist at LEGOS, Toulouse, France.

2010: Post-docotral researcher at University of Washington Hydrology Group, Seattle, USA.

2006 - 2009: PhD at LEGOS and Noveltis, Toulouse, France.

2008: Visiting scholar at Ohio State University (Columbus, OH, USA) and University of Washington (Seattle, WA, USA).

2009: Ph.D. in Hydrology and Remote Sensing (title: study of boreal regions hydrological cycle and benefits of using wide swath altimetry, PhD manuscript in French), University of Toulouse, Toulouse, France.

2006: M.Sc. in Atmospheric, Oceanic and Land Surface Sciences, University of Toulouse, Toulouse, France.
