Saint-Paul
Saint-Paul tide gauge (-38° 42.7' S, 77° 32.3' E) is situated in the crater of a partially immersed volcano which communicates with ocean. It was installed in 1994.
Situation of Saint-Paul tide gauge
It contains a Marargos automatic tide gauge station which activates, every hour, measurements of:
- Atmospheric pressure with an Orion sensor.
- Bottom pressure, sea water temperature and conductivity with an Aanderaa WLR7 sensor.
Measurements are real time transmitted, via Argos system, to LEGOS.
