Crozet
Crozet tide gauge (-46° 25.5' S, 51° 52.2' E) is settled on the Possession island in Crozet archipelago. It was installed in 1995.
Situation of Crozet tide gauge
It contains a PM36S automatic tide gauge station which activates, every hour, measurements of:
- Atmospheric pressure with a Vaisala sensor.
- Bottom pressure, sea water temperature and conductivity with an Aanderaa WLR7 sensor.
Measurements are real time transmitted, via Argos system, to LEGOS.
