Dr. Xiyu Xu is a visiting scholar in LEGOS from China. He is an associate professor of the key Laboratory of Microwave Remote Sensing, National Space Science Center, Chinese Academy of Sciences. His scientific interest lies in the data processing and calibration of satellite radar altimeters. He will work with Anny Cazenave and Florence Birol this year.
As a newcomer he is willing to make acquaintance with new colleague of LEGOS, not only in the academic work, but also in real life. He plans to give a brief seminar on the general information of his affiliation in China and himself, and on the recent advances of microwave remote sensing and satellite altimetry in China. He will be very appreciated if the seminar can draw your attention.
